So you’re expecting twins or triplets!
Congratulations and welcome to the Hamilton Multiple Birth Club website. The clubs aim is to “Provide support, information and education to families with multiples.”
The club was established in 1980 by a group of parents that were raising multiples. Today a new group of parents are organising fun filled (“wear them out”) activities, informative antenatal evenings, coffee mornings, and the opportunity to hire helpful equipment and books on your unique pregnancy and parenting experience.
We are now a club with over 150 families with multiples members. If you require a membership form please email us athamiltonmbc@hotmail.com. Membership costs $20 for a year. This helps to subsidise our family events and to cover the cost of our monthly newsletter.
Autumn Update
Well, what a non existent summer that was!! Although I must say it was nice not to have the really muggy days like last summer, and it was nice not to pregnant over summer this year! Could have done with a wee bit more sunshine, and far less rain, but at least the tomato plants have been happy! Hope you all managed to get to the beach, and spend some time with your families; we disappeared up to the Coromandel for a week, with no cellphones, TV or computers, spending the days at the beach. playing with the kids, swimming and eating. Bliss.
Welcome to all our new members, we have had a few over the last few months great to see some new faces 
And congratulations to those of you who have welcomed new family members of your own, I do love seeing the gorgeous newborn photos on our facebook page (see below for details), hearing the stories and the lovely names, so keep it coming! And to those who are expecting, hang in there! You are in for the ride of your life!!
There is a lot going on over the next wee while, we have a family outing day on the 25th March at Hamilton Zoo, meeting there at 9.30am to walk the zoo, or you can meet us at 10.30am in the picnic area for morning tea. Would be great to see you there.
Our club is hosting the 2013 NZMBA Conference next year, so keep your eyes out for fundraising details in your newsletters, we will be selling Entertainment Books as part of this again this year, please email us hamitonmbc@hotmail.com or visit or facebook page if you are interested in purchasing one.
Lastly, don’t forget our coffee mornings, the first 3 Wednesdays of every month, 9-11am, at the Hamilton Bridge Club Rooms, next to Plunket on Richmond St. Parking around the back, and morning tea and much needed tea and coffee is provided, we love seeing new faces and meeting new people, both kids and parents! So do come along.

We are still selling Entertainment Books again to help fundraise for the New Zealand Multiple Birth Conference we are hosting next October (2013). They cost $55, and have loads of 25-50% or two for one discount vouchers to use throughout Hamilton, Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Taupo. These books are great value and will pay for themselves after 2-3 uses.
